Charvel Pro-Mod Plus Dinky DK24 HH FR QM Electric Guitar - Cloaked Emerald Green

Built for players who want technical playability, flexible high-output electronics and the visual depth of figured maple, the Charvel Pro-Mod Plus Dinky DK24 HH FR QM electric guitar pairs a quilt maple-topped basswood body with a performance-focused DK24 design. A graphite-reinforced caramelized maple neck and ebony fingerboard provide the foundation for fast fretwork, with a 12"–16" compound radius and 24 jumbo stainless steel frets supporting everything from precise rhythm playing to wide bends and upper-register leads. Direct-mount Seymour Duncan Nazgûl and Sentient humbuckers feed a five-position blade and series/parallel mini toggle for an unusually broad range of HH pickup combinations. A Floyd Rose 1500 Series double-locking tremolo adds extensive pitch control, while Luminlay side dots and a sculpted heel round out a guitar designed for demanding modern playing.

Quilt Maple Meets the Streamlined Dinky Platform

A quilt maple top gives this DK24 a distinctive figured surface over its basswood body, adding visual dimension without changing the streamlined character of the Dinky platform. Beyond its appearance, the body is shaped around access and mobility across the instrument. A sculpted four-bolt heel reduces bulk where the caramelized maple neck meets the body, giving the fretting hand a clearer path into the upper register. The compact double-cutaway design complements the guitar's 25.5" scale and 24-fret layout, creating an instrument built to remain manageable whether you're working through tightly articulated rhythm parts or moving quickly across the full range of the neck.

Speed Neck Design Supports Technical Fretwork

The DK24's caramelized maple Speed Neck combines a natural satin finish with rolled fingerboard edges for a smooth playing surface, while graphite reinforcement adds stability to the bolt-on construction. Its ebony fingerboard moves from a 12" radius in the lower register to a flatter 16" radius farther up the neck, supporting comfortable fretting lower down and more demanding lead techniques higher up. Twenty-four jumbo stainless steel frets provide a durable surface for bends and fast articulation, while Luminlay side dots improve position visibility under dim stage lighting. A heel-mounted adjustment wheel also provides convenient access to the dual-action truss rod when neck adjustments are needed.

Seymour Duncan Humbuckers With Expanded Switching

Direct-mount Seymour Duncan Nazgûl and Sentient humbuckers give the DK24 HH FR QM its dual-humbucker foundation, but Charvel extends their capabilities with a five-position blade. Position one accesses the full bridge pickup, while positions two through four introduce inner-coil and combined-coil configurations before position five engages the full neck pickup. This arrangement moves beyond the basic bridge, bridge-and-neck and neck selections of a conventional HH circuit. A low-friction 500K volume potentiometer and no-load tone control keep the main interface straightforward, giving players familiar hands-on control while the five-way architecture provides additional pickup combinations for changing texture and response.

Series and Parallel Modes Expand the HH Palette

A two-position mini toggle further expands the electronics by changing the pickup system between series and parallel operation. With the switch down, the available pickup combinations operate in series; moving it up changes them to parallel operation. Because this control works alongside the five-position blade rather than functioning as a single coil-split switch, players can explore different responses across the pickup selections without adding a complicated array of controls. The result is an HH configuration with considerably more flexibility than its two-humbucker appearance suggests, making it easier to move between fuller and more open textures while staying within the same pickup platform.

Floyd Rose Control Completes a Performance-Driven DK24

A Floyd Rose 1500 Series double-locking tremolo and matching locking nut give the DK24 HH FR QM the hardware needed for wide-ranging pitch manipulation. The double-locking design secures the strings at the bridge and nut, supporting expressive tremolo techniques while maintaining the stability expected from a locking system. Charvel-branded die-cast tuners complete the hardware setup, while the compound-radius ebony fingerboard, stainless steel frets and sculpted heel reinforce the guitar's emphasis on precise, unrestricted playing. For guitarists seeking figured-maple styling without sacrificing flexible electronics, technical playability or double-locking tremolo control, the Charvel Pro-Mod Plus Dinky DK24 HH FR QM electric guitar combines those elements in a cohesive modern instrument.
