Warm Audio WA-C1 Mod Chorus/Vibrato Pedal

Classic analog chorus and vibrato can sound huge, expressive and unmistakable, but traditional oversized layouts can be difficult to fit into a modern rig. The Warm Audio WA-C1 Mod chorus/vibrato pedal brings a celebrated all-analog modulation platform into a streamlined format designed for modern pedalboards. It combines separate depth and rate controls for each effect with selectable input impedance and a bypassable analog preamp. Wet/dry stereo outputs support expansive dual-amp configurations, while top-mounted jacks and a reduced enclosure conserve space within compact rigs. Vintage and modern preamp modes let players choose between the original-style circuit response and modulation without the preamp coloration. From subtle chorus movement to pronounced vibrato and rotary-like textures, the WA-C1 Mod provides detailed control over a modulation architecture associated with generations of rock, new wave, progressive and alternative guitar sounds.

Analog Chorus and Vibrato With Separate Controls

The WA-C1 Mod uses an all-analog modulation circuit built around an MN3007 bucket-brigade device, producing the rich midrange movement associated with classic BBD chorus pedals. Separate chorus depth and rate controls allow precise adjustment from gentle motion to more pronounced modulation. The vibrato section adds dedicated depth and rate controls for pitch movement ranging from subtle wobble to animated, rotary-like textures. A flashing LED follows the selected effect and modulation rate, providing a clear visual reference while adjusting settings or performing onstage.

Bypassable Preamp and Selectable Input Impedance

The analog preamp contributes bite, depth and natural compression when the pedal operates in vintage mode. Modern mode bypasses the preamp circuit while keeping the chorus and vibrato effects available, providing a cleaner path for rigs with more complex gain staging. Selectable input impedance further adapts the pedal’s response to different instruments and signal-chain positions. Together, the preamp and impedance options let players retain the original-style character or integrate the WA-C1 Mod more transparently with contemporary pedalboards, guitars, keyboards and other compatible sources.

Stereo Routing in a Pedalboard-Friendly Format

A single 1/4" input and dual 1/4" outputs preserve wet/dry stereo routing for wide modulation setups and dual-amp rigs. The reduced enclosure and top-mounted connections make the pedal easier to position on crowded boards, while its internal voltage-conversion circuit supports the analog design from a standard 9V power source. For players seeking classic chorus and vibrato with detailed control, flexible preamp operation and stereo connectivity, the Warm Audio WA-C1 Mod chorus/vibrato pedal delivers expansive analog modulation in a compact format.
