The Yayhoos - Put The Hammer Down NEW Vinyl

Coming fast behind the first vinyl release of their debut album, Fear Not The Obvious, comes their follow-up LP, Put The Hammer Down. And don’t you worry: The Yayhoos sound no more evolved on album number two.

Redundantly—but accurately—described by Exclaim! as “a drunken collision between the Stones and the Faces” this is another reminder of the best night of your life from a decade you probably regret. And while your sponsor would never let you back in that bar, you can now enjoy Put The Hammer Down in the relative safety of your own living room, remastered for maximum vinyl-istic sound by them Yayhoos themselves.

This is yet another Bloodshot classic that fans have been asking us for, and we’re happy to abide. Not only does it fill our hearts with joy to see such a thing out in the world, but it gives us another chance to crank it up and and remember what got us here. And, yes, if you’re looking at the track list and wondering if “Roam” and “Love Train” are that “Roam” and that “Love Train,” the answer is, hell yes.

Tell your friends. Tell your customers. Tell your Friday-night-til-closing-time younger self . . . The Yahoos are ready to rock you all over again.
