In 2010, Madlib launched an ambitious series of releases known as the Madlib Medicine Show with the prolific producer releasing new material on a monthly basis. The series touches on all genres where Madlib excels, and that’s just about any genre you can consider from Jazz to Rock, Soul to African music and Reggae. But here, on the 11th installment of series – Madlib kicks it in a Hip Hop fashion. Low High-Fi Music features a run-down of regular Madlib collaborators including MED, Guilty Simpson, Strong Arm Steady – Karriem Riggins pops in for a Supreme Team interlude, as does A.G. Madlib even digs out a Jaylib-era track that was earmarked for the never-realized second album. For RSD Black Friday Madlib Invazion presents Low High-Fi Music in an exclusive colored vinyl pressing.
