Pat Began her professional singing career as an Ikette with the Ike and Tina Turner Revue in 1965. Whilst on tour in London in 1966, she jump ship and started recording for Stone's manager Andrew Loog Oldham with Mick Jagger as her producer for much of this LP. Cat Stevens who wrote 'First Cut Is The Deepest' acknowledges that her version is the all-time classic recording of his song. Her second LP for Immediate Records has also been reissued by Charly Records.
