A soon to be viral collaboration: brilliant fan-favorite composer Cristobal Tapia de Veer (White Lotus, Smile) scores the extremely buzzy new romantic thriller starring Nicole Kidman and Harris Dickinson, A24's Babygirl. The Babygirl score is absolutely magnetic, soundtracking the sexiest film of the year with irresistible pulsing. Representing the duality of Nicole Kidman's character, the score fluctuates between steamy, hard-hitting beats punctuated with breathy vocals and the delightful carefully crafted waltzes, delicate piano melodies and ethereal meditative synths. The themes are established and re-imaged, creating inventive ear worms that morph into fresh iterations, surprising and delighting. IF I WANNA BE HUMILIATED I'm GONNA PAY SOMEONE TO DO IT. A bold new track from ever-viral composer Cristobal Tapia de Veer (White Lotus, Smile). From the sexiest film of the year, Babygirl, starring Nicole Kidman and Harris Dickinson, the track begins with a steady steamy pulse. It then layers in the Tapia de Veer signatures, an upbeat percussion, ethereal dreamy vocals and breath work, and droning strings.
